How long have you been a beverage server? One or two seasons each. What attracted you to this job? Hailey - This course seems so much more relaxed and fun than other courses. Being outside enjoying the sun. Do you play golf and if so, how is your game? Erin - I do play occasionally. My game is in need of some help, but I'm hopeful. What do you like about the game of golf? Allie - I am amazed when I watch good golfers play. I highly respect the sport. The artistic element keeps me interested. What would you change about the game? Erin - To be more inclusive. Its' a mans' game attitude is demeaning to men. There are many very good female golfers that deserve more respect. Share a memorable experience you had driving the cart? Brianna - I am asked to sing for the golfers and most say "I could hear you singing, it's like the sound of music out there." What is the most used line you hear on the course? All - "Can you just follow us." or "Where is your bikini today." What are the top 3 "Don'ts" with a Beverage server? All agreed - 1) Get in my cart or ask to ride with us; 2) Don't' flirt TOO much. It wont' "hook you up"with anything i.e.- free beer, phone number, or a date; 3) Don't' say things like: "can I see the rest of that bikini" or "Hey beer girl/beverage wench take it off". DUH guys! What are the top 3 "Do's" with a Beverage Server? All agreed - 1) Be courteous and respectful."Please, thank you, etc..."; 2) TIP well if you receive good service. Our boss does not pay us much. 3) Do Not hit your ball if you can hit us. Give us a minute to get to a safe spot.
