Fall Colors Unparalleled at Arrowhead Golf Course

Arrowhead Golf Club is one of the premier golf courses in the Denver area. Arrowhead has continually been one of the most scenic venues due to the ancient sandstone rocks that tower majestically above you. Add Colorado's beautiful fall colors to the picture and what you end up with is one of the most photographed golf courses in the country.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. in the early '70s, Arrowhead has extreme elevation changes typified by Hole #13. This signature hole is a spectacular 174-yard par 3, where more cameras are used than 7 irons. Golfers step to the tee box sandwiched between two of Arrowhead's signature red rocks, looking down to the green 200 feet below. After golfers catch their breath, club selection is crucial on the tricky par three that plays up to two clubs shorter than other 174-yard holes. Wind will play a part of any high shot and anything short of the green will end up in one of the two green side bunkers, while anything long will end up splashing in the lake. In order to make birdie, golfers must remember all putts at Arrowhead are affected by the mountains and have a tendency to break towards the city. Most golfers would be happy hitting the green and two putting for par.

Surprisingly, Arrowhead offers a wide range of reasonable green fees. The fees range from an early bird back nine special of $35 to a new Colorado Resident rate of $65/$75, which will be effective in the months of September and October.
