Girls of the Month Occupation
History: I've had several jobs,
but my most enjoyable ones were jewelry
model, and tour guide at Walt Disney World
MGM studios. How
long have you been a Cart Girl? Just
started this summer. What
attracted you to the job? I get to
hang out in the sun on a beautiful golf
course all day driving around serving
beverages and meeting new people that are
always happy to see me! Oh yeah and free
golf, what could be better?! Do
you play golf? If so, how is your
game? Just starting, but it looks like I
may have a future.
What do you like about the game of
golf? I'm really starting to enjoy
golf. Now that I've played a little, I
know how hard the game really is and
understand people's frustration. But from
a cart girl perspective, the best thing is
watching the guys and girls who are able
to enjoy the game and their beautiful
surroundings, even when they're not
playing well.
What would you change about the game?
Well, Bear Dance is known for not being
able to see a any other hole then the one
you're on. It is such a beautiful course
and it's very secluded. I wish all courses
were that way, because I've been to a few
where guys from another hole were hitting
onto the hole where I was. That can be a
little distracting. Share
a memorable experience you had driving the
cart? The men's league is always a
memorable experience! I once had them all
cheering for me in the bar after they
played, and I was done with my shift! It
was a riot! What
is the most used phrase or comment you
hear on the course? "Can you just
follow us?" "is everyone tipping well
today? I can see why!" |
