Pelican Lakes Golf and Country Club

Opening in 1999, the original 18 holes of Pelican Lakes Golf and Country Club have become a a favorite in Northern Colorado. And with the addition of the 9 hole Pelican Falls course in 2006, the combination of courses give it the distinction of being the only 27 hole golf facility north of Metropolitan Denver.

Set against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, Pelican Lakes Golf and Country Club is defined with more shoreline (7.5 miles) than any other golf course in America and landing areas which exceed USGA minimums.

Boasting over 36,000 linear feet of concrete cart path, only one time does the fairway overlap and never will you worry about a snap hook into the housing development - because homes are separated by lakes and water from the fairways. From the first tee shot through the 18th hole, you will leave the civilized world behind as you weave back and forth along the Cache la Poudre River corridor crossing the river four times.

The beauty and quality of this Ted Robinson, Sr. golf course is unparalleled in Colorado. Named among the top 10 architects in the world, Ted Robinson, Sr. put his moniker in Colorado for the first time with his design of Pelican Lakes. Over the past 30 years, Ted has designed over 140 courses worldwide, including the Sahalee Country Club in Redmond, WA, the site of 1999 PGA championship.

Opening in 2006, our nine hole Pelican Falls course has earned accolades as well. Colorado Golf Magazine says of the island green design of hole nine, “It’s perhaps the most dramatic finishing hole in the state.”

Included in a Pelican Lakes membership are privileges for use of the state-of-the-art fitness center, outdoor swimming pool, private beach with volleyball court and discounts at Austin’s Homestead Restaurant and the pro shop - all of which are located at the impressive log-style Pelican Lakes clubhouse building on Habitat Lake.

The 27 hole Pelican Lakes facility is a semi-private course and the public is invited to play as well. With undulating fairways bracketed by age old Cottonwoods, the Cache la Poudre River and 5 tranquil lakes found on the original 18 hole course combined with tee boxes high atop the Poudre River Valley bluffs and an island green to finish the round - the 27 holes at Pelican Lakes are as challenging as they are memorable.
